In a heartwarming and miraculous event, Simon Ndung’u and Margaret Wairimu, a young couple in Nakuru, became the proud parents of quintuplets – four girls and a boy. The five tiny bundles of joy were born at Nakuru Level 5 Hospital after a three-day admission for a high-risk pregnancy.

Nakuru Level 5 Superintendent Aisha Maina confirmed the birth and noted that the pregnancy was at seven months, leading to the babies being born with low weights. The father of the quintuplets, Simon, was at work driving to Nairobi when he received the life-changing news. Despite the surprise of having five babies instead of just one, he expressed his happiness and thanked God for the blessings.
As the sole breadwinner for his six children and wife, Simon appealed for financial support from well-wishers. The obstetrician in charge, James Waweru, stated that the birth of quintuplets was a rare occurrence and the five children and mother are under close observation and special care.
The couple’s story of love, surprise, and now, a plea for support, has captured the hearts of many and they wait with bated breath to see the five little miracles grow and thrive.
