Aircraft Crash in Tsavo National Park Kills Father and Son

On December 8 in Tsavo National Park, an aircraft crash claimed the lives of two persons.

According to reports, the father and kid both passed away at the scene. The event was verified by Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS).

Part of the statement stated, “Unfortunately, both passengers on board were instantaneously killed when the aircraft, a Cessna 185 with registration number 5Y-DHS, crashed while on patrol in Huri – the northeastern limit of the park, at around 7.15 hours.”

The accident took place around 7.15 am in the Kone area along the Tiva in Tsavo East National Park, according to KWS corporate communications.

The agency said that a team was sent to the location to look into the crash’s causes.
To the family of the dead, KWS offers its “deepest sympathy and condolences,” according to the statement.
