Aircraft Crash Lands in Nairobi National Park

Published on

A light aircraft crashed in Nairobi National Park on September 21, near the Southern Bypass.

Monica Kimani, the head of the police force in Lang’ata, has confirmed the occurrence and said that four people survived and were pulled out from the wreckage.

Before it crashed, an eyewitness said he spotted the plane flying dangerously low.

“I saw the plane flying at a very low altitude and at first, my passenger and I thought that it was conducting a patrol around the park. As it approached the plane made a sharp turn and overturned, crashing on the ground,”
“Shortly after, three passengers onboard managed to get out of the plane and sat on top of it,” the witness stated.
