Following the end of the general elections, Francis Atwoli, the secretary general of the Cotu, has said that the labor movement, especially the workers union, would cooperate with the government of the day.
Atwoli claims the workers union has always collaborated with the government to advance the interests of the working class.
According to Atwoli, the nation now has a chance to expand economically since the elections that just took place were rather peaceful.
Regardless of who wins or loses in the polls, he said, Kenyans must maintain their unity and peace.
He spoke during the burial of Mzee Lazarus Chepkwony in Eldoret. Mzee Lazarus Chepkwony is the father of Reverend Joel Chebii, who was the first national vice chairman of COTU.
