Charity Ngilu makes first public appearance in Homa Bay

Date:

Former Kitui governor Charity Ngilu made her first public appearance in Homa Bay.

She joined Governor Gladys Wanga in celebrating her recent court victory upholding her election.

Ngilu praised Wanga’s leadership qualities.

She avoided discussing the rivalry between Raila Odinga and President William Ruto.

Ngilu had been a vocal supporter of Raila during the 2022 elections.

She maintained a low profile after his loss.

The court victory celebration also coincided with Wanga’s birthday.

Ngilu led in singing songs and offering gifts to the first female governor of Homa Bay.
