CJ Koome’s Requests to Kenyans Before Judgment Day

Published on

Kenya’s Chief Justice Martha Koome has requested the country’s citizens to pray for the judges as they adjourn to discuss the verdict in the country’s presidential lawsuit.

On Friday, September 2nd, Chief Justice Koome spoke before the Supreme Court, saying that the court’s goal is to provide a ruling that is both consistent with the law and beneficial to the Constitution.

In light of the judges’ continued deliberation on the petitions, she halted the proceedings and announced that the Supreme Court’s decision will be issued on Monday, September 5.
