Crane Malfunction Results in Painter’s Death on Chai Road, Pangani


An incident on Chai Road, Pangani in Nairobi resulted in the death of a painter.

His colleague was hospitalized with a broken leg after a crane they were using to paint a building malfunctioned.

The accident caused them to fall from the first floor to the ground.

The rise in accidents in the city highlights the need for authorities to enforce safety laws for workers.

The painter died instantly from serious head injuries, while his colleague remains stable in the hospital.

The police arrived at the scene and transported the painter’s body to the mortuary.
