Azimio leader Raila Odinga has been requested to loosen off on his monitoring of the Kenya Kwanza government by DP Rigathi Gachagua.
Gachagua made these claims on Saturday during the Thiba dam launch in Kirinyaga county, saying that Raila failed in his monitoring responsibilities under the Jubilee administration.
He said Raila should hold back on attacking the current administration as it works to correct the damage done by the previous Jubilee administration.
He went on to say that Raila had led former President Uhuru Kenyatta astray by convincing him to utilize Sh200 billion to fund the “Azimio project.”
While the DP acknowledges that Raila is doing his job as an opposition leader by keeping an eye on the government, he argues that he should step aside and allow the current administration to deal with the problems that were created by the previous Jubilee administration.
He believes the Kenya Kwanza government would bring the economy back to life and restore agriculture’s profitability.
