Date:

The Communications Authority explained what happened during an event at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Complex in Kisumu City.

They were there to mark World Consumer Rights Day, but a group of disruptive young people showed up and caused chaos.

The event started as planned, and high-profile people were there, but chaos erupted after the Director General Ezra Chiloba finished speaking and was getting ready to leave for another venue.

Chiloba managed to escape from the rowdy group and addressed the next meeting at Ciala Hotel.

Earlier in the day, there were protests in Kisumu about the high cost of living, and it’s unclear why the group disrupted the event.
