A fire broke out on Sunday afternoon, February 26, along Kiambu Road, destroying a furniture shop and a motor shop, causing millions of shillings in losses.
The fire started at Kapital Furnitures and spread to Garden Motors.
No casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire is yet to be established.
The owner of Kapital Furniture stated that his property was destroyed, and the owner of Garden Motors reported that the fire had spread to their premises but was already contained by 3:00 PM.
Witnesses reported the fire starting around 2:00 PM, and residents reached out to the fire department, but they had not arrived at the scene at the time of publication.
