Fred Matiang’i to Appear at DCI Headquarters Earlier than Expected

Date:

Fred Matiang’i, the previous Interior Cabinet Secretary, will be appearing at the DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road one hour earlier than the scheduled time.

His lawyer wrote a letter to the summoning officer to inform them of this change.

Matiang’i is being sought for questioning about a supposed police raid that took place at his Karen home on February 8th.

However, both the police and arresting authorities have denied involvement in the alleged raid, dismissing it as a hoax.

Matiang’i will make his appearance on Tuesday after his lawyers notified the DCI that they had other commitments and requested a deferral of the summons.
