Gachagua claims Uhuru misused police money to fund BBI.

    Published on

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua now asserts that the administration of former President Uhuru Kenyatta misappropriated police monies to support Raila Odinga’s unsuccessful presidential campaign and the constitution review process.

The DP said Uhuru’s administration transferred Sh200 billion from the Interior Ministry to “project Azimio” and Sh50 billion to the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) in remarks broadcast Sunday on a local television channel.

Gachagua declared that money won’t be used for pointless projects or political causes under President William Ruto’s administration.

The DP emphasized that the Kenya Kwanza administration would spend money on matters that would benefit the people.
