Rigathi Gachagua, the country’s deputy president, has embarked on his first official diplomatic mission.
On Thursday morning, the DP boarded a plane bound for Kigali, Rwanda to attend Youth Connect Africa Summit.
Linet Chepkorir aka Toto, a women rep from Bomet, was among the several legislators who joined him.
Toto is also experiencing his first international travel.
Additionally, Ndindi Nyoro was there with the team.
Kigali is hosting the 2022 Africa Young Generation of Innovators, Champions, and Leaders Summit from October 13 – 15, 2022.
Through this platform, young people connect with one another, learn from one another, and brainstorm novel methods of working together.
The sixth Youth Connect Africa conference will attract around 10,000 participants from all over the globe.
The Rwandan Ministry of Youth and Culture has partnered with the event’s organizers to put it on.
