Judica Ulomi Kalinga, a young student from Lunga Lunga Kwale County, is making a plea to the public for assistance in financing her secondary education. Judica, who scored an impressive 403 marks in last year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination, is eager to continue her studies at St. Brigids Kiminini Girls’ High School in Kitale.

No School Fees, No Education: Brilliant KCPE Student Seeks Help
Judica’s family is struggling to come up with the funds to pay for her school fees, and her uncle has taken the initiative to meet with the school’s principal to plead for her admission despite their financial challenges. “I want to talk to the principal if she can hold her as we look for well-wishers. If she says I go back home with her, it is also fine,” said Judica’s uncle. The student’s mother, Kavata Mule, is a single mother who works menial jobs to support her two children. Despite her own financial strains, Mule managed to educate both of her children with the support of her elder brother who is only a primary school teacher.
With the admission process for form one student underway this week, Judica’s family is reaching out to anyone who can help them finance her education. “I need assistance,” said Judica, who is eager to pursue her dreams and make a better life for herself. If you would like to help, you can reach Judica’s uncle at 0711399204.
