President William Ruto’s persuasion effort in the Lower Eastern area paid off when leaders committed to back him.
Sunday, October 23, regional leaders headed by Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti stated they would cooperate with Ruto for their people.
Wavinya stated they had Kalonzo Musyoka’s approval to engage with the president.
Wavinya Ndeti noted.
Wavinya said they would support the president if he solved food and water shortages and insecurity.
The President and his Deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, were in attendance when Wavinya gave his remarks during a Thanksgiving ceremony in Kitui county.
