Before Lavender said her vows, Orengo and his wife, Betty Kaari Murungi, escorted her down the aisle.

Matching their wedding theme, Lavender donned a white sleeved gown and her husband wore a traditional narrow cut single brace suit and brogue formal shoes.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was among the prominent political personalities that attended the wedding of Siaya Governor James Orengo’s daughter.

Members of Parliament Otiende Amollo (Rarieda), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), and Samuel Atandi were among the officials that attended the couple’s wedding.

A secluded spot in Nairobi’s Karen neighborhood served as the backdrop for the intimate wedding.

A traditional ceremony was held at their home in Ramunde, Ugenya Constituency, just after the private wedding.
