JSC postpones HC judge interviews

Published on

High Court judge interviews scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 20 have been postponed by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

JSC said the postponement was made so that objections about the drill might be heard and resolved in a timely manner.

“Having reviewed the complaints lodged and responses by the candidates, the JSC resolved that affected candidates be accorded a fair hearing and be given an opportunity to provide better particulars and clarification as required by the law,” Amadi stated.

“In fulfillment of the constitutional requirement for public participation in appointment of state officers, the JSC resolved to carry out stakeholder engagement to get the perspective of stakeholders on the recruitment and selection to enrich the process.” she added.

The interviews will take place at the JSC boardroom at Reinsurance Plaza in Nairobi and run untill November 3.

Those who made the cut have been instructed to visit the commission’s website in order to confirm the time and date of their examination.
