Judiciary Explains Mwilu and Wanjala’s Resignation

Published on

The Judiciary has raised concerns over a story claiming that Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu and Justice Smokin Wanjala had resigned in the days after the Supreme Court decision.

Throughout the greater part of the day on Sunday, September 11, rumors swirled that two justices on the Supreme Court had resigned and handed in their resignations to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

However, the Judiciary made it clear that this was incorrect and should be disregarded.
