    Kamure takes KCB through FKF integrity manual

    Before the start of the new KPL season, the KCB Football Club put its players through an integrity training program. They were taught the basics of good football technique baheviuor throughout the training.

    Among the most significant was one on the pervasive issue of match-fixing, which has led to the punishment of several teams and players by the international governing body of football.

    During his talk, FKF Head of Integrity Project and National Team Mike Kamure remarked on the significance of the conduct of football stakeholders. He said that the behavior of football players and officials off the field is just as important as what happens on it for the country’s reputation abroad.

    “Match fixing has been a problem since the beginning of time. Everyone involved in the game is counted for not just the players on the pitch. S ports betting has expanded in popularity, deceptive individuals have found a new bastion from which to exert undue influence on game officials and influence the outcome of games in their favor. Multiple laws have been broken and this behavior cannot be tolerated at all cost. its our duty to uphold to the rules of the game” Kamure Stated.
