KDF soldiers wounded in an accident on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway

    Published on

Ten members of the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) suffered significant injuries when the truck in which they were riding lost control and careened off the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

The KDF lorry, with 11 people, had left Eldoret for Nairobi’s Embakasi Military School.

On Friday, September 23rd, a truck lost control and crashed into a ditch in the Soilo region, killing a military commander.

As far as we can tell, the truck’s braking system failed, causing the driver to lose control and crash into a ditch.

Peter Mwanzo, commander of police in Nakuru County, confirmed the incident, saying that the wounded servicemen had been sent to a local hospital.
Mwanzo claims that the wounded troops were stabilized and then flown to Nairobi.
