    Published on

Kenya Power has released a statement to explain the countrywide blackout that has been experienced.

On Wednesday, November 2nd, KPLC released a statement saying it was having technical difficulties and was trying to fix them.

The capital city of Nairobi and other metropolitan areas like Mombasa, Nakuru, and Busia are among those that have been hit.

“Our staff are aware of a technical issue in the region. We really apologize for any difficulty this may have caused. We appreciate your patience as we work to rectify this problem as quickly as possible “KPLC addressed the many concerns that were voiced.

Kenyans have already gone to social media to question why KPLC had not alerted the public in advance.

Power has been restored as of the time of posting this article.
