Following a Supreme Court ruling that allowed LGBTQ movements in Kenya, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has declared that the Kenyan government is ready to take action against them.
He emphasized that Kenyan society values morals and does not accept individuals who cannot differentiate between genders.
President William Ruto, MPs, church leaders, lobby groups, and MCAs have also joined forces in opposing the Supreme Court’s decision and rejecting LGBTQ movements.

Kimilili lawmaker Didmus Barasa has called on the President to instruct the police to apprehend those affiliated with LGBTQ, while Bungoma county deputy speaker Stephen Wamalwa confirmed that MCAs have also rejected it.
