Kenyan (Grace Wangui) killed in Egypt after rejecting her employer’s son

    Published on

Grace Wangui’s family is inconsolable at her untimely passing after she was reportedly attacked by the employer’s son and pushed off a story-high structure.

The family revealed at a media briefing on Sunday, October 2, that their daughter, who had moved to Egypt in 2015, had been struck in the head by a piece of metal.

She was then pushed out of the building and killed after falling from the 13th floor.

For seven years, Wangui worked as a domestic helper in Egypt. Two weeks ago, she transferred to a new employer, where she died.

According to a family member, the employer’s son made sexual approaches toward Wangui and became angry when he was rejected.

To return their sibling’s remains to Kenya for burial, the family is now requesting the government for assistance.
