    Kenyans Fundraise for Miguna’s Homecoming

    Published on

On Saturday, October 1st, Miguna Miguna, a Canadian lawyer, acknowledged a fundraising effort to pay for his return home.

Despite doubts about the sincerity and motivation of the initiative, the exiled lawyer commended the effort, calling it a demonstration of integrity and honesty.

Miguna was responding to a tweep who had called into doubt the legitimacy of the fundraising by claiming that the lawyer already had the resources to secure his return home.

He justified the fundraising effort by saying he’s lost more than three million shillings due to his aborted return to Kenya.

The outspoken lawyer has revealed that he would arrive in Kenya on October 20.
