Raila Odinga, leader of the Azimio La Umoja party, has raised concerns about the job security of civil servants in Kenya.
Speaking to Islamic leaders regarding the recent Supreme Court ruling allowing LGBTQ groups to form NGOs, Odinga stated that many civil servants are being unjustly laid off.

He further contended that some are being terminated due to their tribe, and that the country is dismissing people “like dogs.”
Odinga criticized President William Ruto’s appointments, claiming that the new hires demonstrate a blatant tribal bias.
