Kimani, Bandari’s coach, believes his team has what it takes to win the FKF Premier League.

Published on

As the new season approaches, Bandari FC head coach Anthony Kimani thinks the team is in the greatest position to compete for the FKF Premier League championship, adding that the club’s transfer activity has gone on to indicate their resolve to grab the first ever league trophy.

Bandari have been astute in the transfer window, acquiring players like Fidel Origa and James Kinyanjui from Wazito FC and the Kariobangi Sharks combo of Felix Oluoch and Douglas Mokaya. They have also added Talanta’s Enock Momanyi and AFC Leopards’ Omar Somobwanaa on defense.

He was quite pleased with their performances in all of their exhibition games, but notably the three they played in Nairobi last week.

Kimani claims that Bandari’s recent performances have given him hope that his team may make a run at the Premier League championship after they won all three of their matches in Nairobi, including a 4-1 thrashing of Posta Rangers.
