Kindiki warns criminals as he unveils changes in National Police Service

    Published on

Seeing a rise in criminal activity, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has ordered a reorganization of the National Police Service (NPS) leadership in Nairobi.

On Monday, November 14th, Kindiki made the announcement at a news conference on the current security situation in the country.

A multi-agency team, comprised of experts from various fields, has been formed by NPS, as announced by the Interior CS as a means of responding to the complex nature of the security threat.

We have heard you, boys, and we are coming for you. You have dared the government and now you want to tell us that you can take over the city and turn it into a city of crime.
The squad will remove our misbehaving sons and daughters from the streets and send them to the appropriate prison. Nothing can be worth more to us than our independence and security.

    Kindiki emphasized.

The Interior Ministry chief updated everyone on the latest developments in countering the bandit threat in the north Rift.
He affirmed that the government had really located the bandits’ hideouts and that an operation was forthcoming.

He also warned the leaders against politicizing the state’s efforts to combat insecurity.
