Lawyer Miguna Miguna has announced that he will be in Kenya on Thursday, October 20, at 6 AM and that both his family and the people of Kisumu are eager to see him.
To hear Miguna was returning from Canada made Kisumu resident Ramathan very thrilled. “We’ve been waiting for him for a long time,” he remarked.
Erick Ondiek Miguna, Miguna’s brother, said in an interview on Wednesday that the family is relieved that the evacuation orders have been rescinded.
His passport was granted, and the red alerts that had been put on him were canceled, so he was given permission to return. “We were quite delighted when he notified us of this,” he added.
Since the red alerts were removed on October 12, Miguna has been tweeting about his return from Canada.
