The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has started the registration process for Grade Six students for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) set to take place later this year, according to a statement released on March 9th.
The statement emphasized that the registration process began on March 3rd and would close on April 3rd, with parents and teachers urged to ensure that all details are captured during the online registration process, as no extension would be granted.
The registration details required include the student’s assessment number, name, gender, and year of birth.
KNEC warned schools against registering ghost students, and school heads were advised to submit student details by April 5th to the Sub-County Directors of Education for verification before submitting to KNEC.
The assessment for Grade Six students will take place alongside Standard Eight and Form Four students later in the year.
