“Warning Against Tempting What’s Beyond Control”
In a recent statement, lawyer Miguna Miguna has warned Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga against tempting fate. Miguna’s caution comes in response to Raila’s claim that President William Ruto did not win the August 9, 2022, presidential election. The lawyer maintained that the Supreme Court settled the question of who won the presidential poll.
“Don’t Tempt Fate, Supreme Court Settled Election,” warns Miguna.

During an anti-government rally in Busia, Raila Odinga claimed that President Ruto rigged the election with the help of the IEBC, and his victory was legitimized by the Supreme Court. He added that they have now resolved to talk to the people who hold sovereign power.
However, Raila’s claims have been met with resistance by Miguna who states that the Supreme Court settled the 2022 presidential election after a hotly contested petition.
