Lawyer. Paul Gicheru, a major ICC suspect, was discovered dead at his house in Karen, Nairobi, on Monday, September 26.
Gicheru was accused of interfering with witnesses by the ICC.
Word on the street has it that Gicheru’s dead corpse was found long after he had gone to bed feeling ill.
It was said that Gicheru went straight to bed after lunch, and his family became concerned when he did not awaken at the usual time of nightfall.
The police verified his passing, but they remained tight-lipped about whether or not he had been poisoned, as it had been reported.
There were allegations of poisoning after a complaint was filed at the Karen Police Station stating that he was discovered with foam coming out of his mouth.
His son, who was said to be affected in the event as well, was sent to a Nairobi hospital immediately. It was said that medical professionals were keeping an eye on his condition.
A family spokesperson is expected to address the media on Tuesday, September 27.
