    Leonard Mambo Mbotela sworn in after government appointment

    After many years of service at KBC, veteran journalist Lenard Mambo Mbotela was recently sworn in as a member of the Kenya National Heroes Council.

    A month after his appointment, on Monday, September 26, Chief Justice Martha Koome presided over the swearing-in of the experienced broadcaster.

    The council is responsible for determining which deserving citizens will be honored on a national level.

    Mbotela was appointed to his post on August 5 by Amina Mohammed, the CS of sports and culture. It’s anticipated that he’ll stay in the role for three years.
