Mark Masai: From News Anchor to PR Director

Date:

Mark Masai, the former NTV news anchor, has been appointed as the Public Relations Director at PMS Group. The multinational marketing company has placed great trust in Masai’s expertise and years of experience in communication to bring a new and innovative approach to the PR and Corporate Communication department.

“Ready to Close the Deals and Grow Brands”

Masai brings over 15 years of experience in both local and international mainstream media to the table, and his vast knowledge of communication is expected to be of great benefit to PMS Group’s clients. He is confident in his ability to bring a desired outcome to his audience and is eager to put his skills to the test in his new role.

Joanne Mwangi, the CEO of PMS Group, sees the appointment of Masai as a sign of their commitment to disrupting the PR and Communication market in Africa, one country at a time. Mwangi believes that Masai’s experience in the field will help the company establish a strong presence in the African continent.

A New Chapter After NTV

Masai’s new role came three months after he parted ways with NTV, where he worked as a news presenter for over 14 years. He was one of several journalists affected by a reshuffle at the Nation Media Group-owned media outlet in December 2022. Despite his departure from NTV, Masai remains optimistic about his future in the media industry, asserting that “this is not the end of [his] career in the media.”

In addition to his time at NTV, Masai has also worked as a marketing consultant and has helped some of Kenya’s prominent companies in building their brands. His expertise in communication and marketing makes him a valuable asset to PMS Group, and the company is confident in his ability to bring success to the PR and Corporate Communication team.

Masai bid farewell to NMG with gratitude and left his fans with a promise, saying “watch this space” for his future endeavors in the media industry. With his appointment at PMS Group, Mark Masai has started a new chapter in his career, and is ready to make his mark in the PR and Communication world.
