The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has recently undergone significant leadership changes.
Hassan Omar has been appointed as the new Vice Chairperson, and former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has taken over as Secretary General.

In addition, Embu Governor Celily Mbarire has been named the new party Chairperson, with Kitutu Chache North MP Japheth Nyakundi serving as Treasurer and Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka as the Party Organising Secretary.

The new leadership will serve on an interim basis in anticipation of national elections later this year.
Outgoing SG Veronica Maina emphasized the importance of women in leadership positions, and National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wa expressed confidence in the new leadership while thanking the outgoing officials for their service.
