Miguna Miguna to arrive in Kisumu at 3 p.m. for the homecoming ceremony

    Published on

Lawyer Miguna Miguna, who arrived in Kenya from Canada last Thursday, will arrive in Kisumu at 3 p.m. on Friday for his homecoming ceremony.

The ACK Maseno East in Ahero is where Miguna would be taken for prayer after landing at Kisumu International Airport, according to Fred Outa, a senator from Kisumu.

To give thanks to God for helping with the lawyer’s safe return, a church service will be held at 4 p.m., presided over by Bishop Joshua Owiti, he added.

In March of 2018, he was forcibly exiled to Canada, thus this visit marks his return to the nation after an absence of 5 years.

The senator asked the people of Kisumu to welcome Miguna with open arms and no violence.

Miguna issued a plea to the people of Kisumu in a tweet on Wednesday, asking them to refrain from inciting any form of violence.
