Milimani Law Courts to Close for 11 Days for Election Petitions

Published on

Beginning this Friday, August 26th, the Judiciary will be conducting an 11-day closure of the Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi.

The purpose of this was to clear the way for the hearing of the nine presidential election petitions that had been filed challenging the results of the vote held on August 9.

The Supreme Court will temporarily relocate to the Milimani Law Courts to hear the nine petitions contesting William Ruto’s victory.

The Judiciary said on Tuesday that during the 11-day period, only urgent issues would be processed online.
