Based on the UK Post Office’s Long Haul Report, Mombasa is the third most affordable city in the world for vacationers.

After Cape Town in South Africa, and Hoi An in Vietnam, this city on Kenya’s coast came in at number three.

In addition to being a lively port city close to several resorts, the UK Post Office also noted that Mombasa was situated in an area rich in beaches.

Other top 10 cities were Tokyo in Japan, Bali in Indonesia, Phuket in Thailand, Rio in Brazil, Montego Bay in Jamaica, Orlando in the United States, and Penang in Malaysia.
