On Thursday, the seven candidates for the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) were unanimously accepted by the MPs.
The Finance and Planning Committee’s report, which recommended their acceptance, was accepted by the parliamentarians.
The action now makes it possible for the candidates who were seconded by their respective political parties to be sworn in.
The seven are from the Majority side and include Benedict Muasya Mutiso, Jonas Vincent Kuko, Isabel Nyambura Waiyaki, and Hadija Nganyi Juma.
Wilfred Koitamet, George Jalang’o Midiwo, and Fatuma Gedi Ali, who were proposed by Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance, received unanimous approval from the MPs.
