    Nairobi City County to dispose of over 200 unclaimed corpses.

    Unidentified corpses in the City Mortuary and the Mama Luck Kibaki Hospital Mortuary will be disposed of by the Nairobi City County.

    The County Secretary and director of county Public Service Jairus Musumba have issued a statement giving the public seven days to identify the dead.

    “In accordance with Public Health Act Cap. 242 [Supplementary Public Health (Public Mortuaries) Rules, 1991], (2). The following corpses must be identified and collected by interested members of the public within 7 (seven) days, failing which the Nairobi City County will seek disposal authorization “Read the declaration.
