Nairobi Residents Brace for 8-Hour Blackout Due to Kenya Power Maintenance

Kenya Power’s scheduled maintenance exercise will cause an 8-hour power outage in over 62 areas in Nairobi.

The power supplier noted that Umoja, Lang’ata, Eatsleigh, Loresho, and Nairobi West would be the most affected areas.

Key institutions such as State House Girls, Arboretum, and the University of Nairobi hostels are among the areas that will face the power outage.

The maintenance exercise is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, February 28, at 9 am.
