New System for Booking Suswa Leisure Train

The Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) has made it possible for people who want to take the Suswa Leisure Train from Nairobi Terminus to Suswa to make reservations online.

Users of the route can now utilize a simple and quick approach by dialing the USSD code *639# or going to the website meticktes (dot) krc (dot) co (dot) ke.

To use the techniques, you only need to do a few simple steps before you can start your adventure.

USSD Reservations

In order to start the reservation process, please dial *639* on your phone. You will be requested to choose a train type.

You can do one of four things:

1. Cross-County 8:00 A.M.

2. Kenya-Msa Express

3. the Mombasa-Nairobi Express

4. Suswa train

If you run into any problems, the pop-up window will provide you with a number to call for assistance: 0709388888.

Website-Based Reservations

There are four tabs visible at the top of the page once you visit the website.
Train Type, Origin, Destination, and Departure Date, clockwise. After you’re done making your reservation, click the “Book a Train” button on the far right.

You can select the intercity, Suswa, or express train from the option labeled “Train Type.”

Next, choose the day you want to leave from where you are now and enter the times you want to leave and arrive.

The next step is to book the train if there is availability.
