NYS changes recruiting dates

Published on

The National Youth Service has postponed recruiting dates for several locations after the August 9 elections.

In a statement, NYS director general Matilda Sakwa confirmed that the hiring process will begin on September 3.

Kakamega, Kitui, and West Pokot are among the regions impacted.

Both Likuyani (a Kongoni elementary school) and Lurambi in Kakamega will be used for recruitment (Bhukungu stadium).

Lower Yatta will host the event in Kitui (St. Luke Secondary School, Kyusami).

She said that for West Pokot, recruiting will take place at South Pokot’s Kibichbich (St. Kizito Primary School) in the Lelan area.
