Siaya Senator Oburu Odinga has made stunning revelations about how President William Ruto outsmarted former Head of State Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga in the electoral process.
In an interview on March 2, Oburu explained that Ruto’s number one tactic was hibernative-pretence, where he took hold of other portions of “The System,” including security, to gain an advantage in the election.

While Uhuru’s wing thought they had sealed all the loopholes in the electoral process, they forgot to cover gaps that were evident at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), which proved to be catastrophic to Raila’s campaign.
The failure to take care of Chebukati, who was not supposed to make decisions on his own, was one of the key factors that led to Raila’s defeat.
Professionals from Venezuela were brought on board to help. Oburu expressed his concerns about the perceived loopholes at IEBC, but did not do much about it since the campaign had shifted focus.
Instead, Azimio placed more emphasis on developing strategies around security systems among other options which they explored.
However, the Siaya Senator also revealed that he had suspected Chebukati would fall out with the four commissioners, but they did not give it enough attention.
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta did not betray Raila, according to Oburu, but Chebukati outsmarted him because he had a lot of faith in him.
Oburu urged Kenyans to rally behind Raila Odinga, promising that he would soon come up with another winning formula.

The revelations have caused a stir in Kenyan politics, with many questioning the integrity of the electoral process and the role of “The System” in deciding the outcome of elections.
