    President Ruto and Senior government officials attend Safaricom presser

    As expected, President William Ruto has arrived at the press conference co-hosted by Safaricom, KCB, and NCBDA.

    The press conference was originally scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM, but was postponed owing to unexpected cancellations.

    In attendance is also the governor of the CBK, Patrick Njoroge.

    It’s anticipated that the three institutions would issue a statement that impacts Kenyans’ access to financial services.

    The President of Kenya, William Ruto, has said that he attended the Safaricom conference on purpose because he was brought there by the company’s clients.

    “In all honesty, I was intending to make my way over to your location in order to carry out this meeting with you. Your clients have requested that I contact you. individuals who are unable to visit your offices or participate in the negotiation process in person. The people want a connection that is advantageous to both parties and that results in a win-win situation ” Ruto stated.
