President Ruto Launches Biashara Loan for Kenyan Entrepreneurs

President William Ruto launched the Biashara Loan program at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi on Thursday, March 2.

The loan targets Micro Small and Medium Entreprises (MSMEs) with capital needs between Ksh10,000 and Ksh200,000.

The loan will come in various plans based on the duration of time required by the entrepreneur, lasting three, six, or nine months.

The loans are accessible by dialling a USSD code *254#.

The President also relaunched the Women Enterprise Fund and promised to triple its resources to increase the number of women groups benefiting from the program.

The newly remodeled Women Enterprise Fund will be paperless and receive loans instantly.
