    President Ruto to attend the funeral of Jackson, Gachagua’s brother.

    The funeral for Jackson Reriani Gachagua, the older brother of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, will be held on Tuesday in Nyeri county, and President William Ruto will attend.

    Ruto will be in Nyeri county for the first time since his appointment as president.

    Jackson’s funeral will be held at Hiriga Primary School in Gachagua’s home area of Mathira.

    The majority of Kenya’s Kwanza leaders are anticipated to attend the funeral.

    ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula, Interior CS nominee Prof. Kithure Kindiki, Transport and Roads CS nominee Kipchumba Murkomen, and Moses Kuria are among the figures who are anticipated to go with the President.

    Others include the governors Kimani Wamatangi (Kiambu), Ann Waiguru (Kirinyaga), and Irungu Kanga’ta (Murang’a), as well as the MPs Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Kimani Ichungwa (Kikuyu), and others.
