Votes from the 15 polling stations where there was a disagreement are now being recounted at Forodha House in Nairobi, Kenya.

By Wednesday afternoon, at least 45 ballot boxes had been sent to the Supreme Court from precincts where a recount had been requested.

During a pre-trial hearing for the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance’s presidential appeal, the judges issued this directive.

As per the court’s directive, the recount must be completed within 48 hours, by Thursday at 2 p.m., with a report submitted to the judge.
