Raila Odinga, the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate, explains why he flew abroad with his family after losing the August 9 General elections.
The injury to his face necessitated a flight, he said.
Former Prime Minister said leaving the nation was necessary for his family to get over the shock of his loss in the election.
“I went to recupperate in Zanzibar. I took my wife, children and grand children out of the shock they got.
I came this morning from Zanzibar and arrive later, I was not able to be with you at the swearing in (of Abdulswamad), but here I am,” Raila stated.
