Raila Odinga Gives President Ruto Ultimatum to Respond to Demands.

Date:

Raila Odinga warned President William Ruto to respond to Azimio La Umoja’s demands by midnight on March 8.

Raila criticized the government’s handling of high living costs, the appointment of new IEBC commissioners, and the opening of its servers.

He did not rule out mass action if the demands were unmet.

Raila dismissed the selection panel appointed to select new IEBC commissioners and revealed plans to lead a mass rally to State House, Nairobi to pressure President Ruto.

However, the head of state, William Ruto, brushed off the demands and threats, arguing that he would not be coerced into giving in to opposition demands.
