Raila Odinga, the leader of Azimio, held an unplanned rally in Githurai, Kiambu county on Friday.
At the rally, he accused President Ruto and Deputy Rigathi Gachagua of abandoning Kenyans.
Raila promised to continue his resistance against the government and remain watchful of the excesses of the Kenya Kwanza administration.
Raila dismissed Ruto’s statement on Thursday that the IEBC had opened the servers during the election period and the Supreme Court ruling.
Raila stated that Ruto’s claim was false and that the servers were never opened as the Supreme Court had directed.
During the rally, Raila urged the public not to fear those in power when he calls for street protests in the next 12 days.

He assured them that what they are doing is legal, and they should not be intimidated.
Once the 14-day ultimatum ends, Raila plans to call “soldiers to order” and reinstate the subsidies rolled out by President Kenyatta to cushion Kenyans.
Martha Karua, Raila’s former running mate and Narc Kenya leader, accompanied Raila to the rally.
She encouraged Kenyans not to be afraid because they are exercising their constitutional rights to demand better services from the government.
Karua reminded them that they only live once and should not allow anyone to threaten them.
